The Smithtonians Handbell Ensemble is a non-profit community group founded over 40 years ago. Our ringers, who are volunteers with many years of experience, are drawn from locations all across the metro area. We perform concerts in the spring and at Christmastime for the enjoyment and education of a variety of audiences.
Of course, it takes funds as well as dedication to make all of this happen. Our operational funding comes from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) and the income from our performances, but those funds don't cover instrument purchases or other large-ticket expenses. We are respectfully requesting that you consider making a tax-deductible donation to our group. Use any of the methods listed on this page. Please give what you can; any and all gifts are appreciated! We are so grateful for your support.
